Dudley L. Dickert, 88 of Saint Petersburg, Florida formerly of Lower Saucon Township, Pennsylvania, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2020, at Palms of Pasadena Hospital in Saint Petersburg, Florida.

Born September 12, 1931 in Allentown, he was the son of the late Earl N. and Edith N. (Guth) Dickert and husband of the late Josephine L. (McCollum) Dickert.

He worked as a computer programmer for IMS Health in Ambler and Plymouth Meeting and Ambler for many years before retiring. Prior to that, he worked at the Franklin Mint.

He honorably served in the US Navy during the Korean War.

He is survived by sons, Michael J. Dickert and wife Linda Ohme of Walnutport, and David L. Dickert of Birmingham, Alabama, daughter, Margie Ann Dickert of Norristown, companion Ruth Strawn of St. Petersburg, Florida; five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association in care of the Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, Pennsylvania 18067.
