Earl J. Ott

Earl J. Ott, Sr. 86, of Sunny Rest Drive, Palmerton, Lower Towamensing Township, Pennsylvania, died Thursday morning, November 3, 2016, at St. Luke's Hospital, Miners Memorial Campus, Coaldale, Schuylkill County. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late William and Ethel (Wallace) Ott.
Earl worked as a self-employed handyman for many years until retiring. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Palmerton, and the Knights of Columbus, Lafayette Council, Palmerton. A Navy Veteran of Korea, he achieved the rank of SN.
Survivors: Son, Earl J. Jr. and fiancée Amanda Clarke of Katy, Texas. Daughter, Lorie. He was predeceased by a daughter, Jackie, and a son, Christopher.
Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 5, 2016, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 243 Lafayette Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071. Interment with Military Honors, at the Parish's New Cemetery, Stoney Ridge Road, Palmerton.
