Edelmiro Cintron-Martinez, Jr.

Edelmiro Cintron-Martinez, Jr ., 83 of Coplay-N. Whitehall Twsp., PA died peacefully on Monday, March 3, 2025, at his daughter's home where he resided, surrounded by his family. Born December 29, 1941 in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. He was the son of the late Edelmiro Cintron Sr. and the late Antonia Martinez. He was the husband of Elizabeth Cintron with whom he shared 62 years of marriage this past December 21, 2024.

Edelmiro was last employed as a building superintendent for 18 years before retiring. He was a member of the Local Union #32 B&J, New York, NY. Edelmiro served his country as a PFC (E-3) in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Surviving along with his wife Elizabeth are daughters, Elizabeth & Joseph Sanabria of Coplay, PA and Enid Cintron of Tampa, FL, brother Jose Cintron & Lillian Fonseca of Toa Alta, PR, sister Iris Velia Monclova & Rafi Monclova of Bayamon, PR; grandsons, Hillel, Shammai, Avishai Sanabria, and William, Jaden Rodriguez also 2 great grandchildren.

A Funeral service: Will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday March 12, 2025,at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA, 18067. Visitation: The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, and Wed. 3/12/2025 from 10:00 AM until time of service. Interment with Military Honors will follow at 1:30 PM at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
