Edgar K. Malick, Jr.

Edgar K. Malick, Jr., 85, of Honeysuckle Lane, Lehighton, East Penn Township, PA, died peacefully Monday morning, December 23, 2024, in his home.  He was the husband of Martha (O'Neal) Malick from 2009.  Born in Summit Hill, he was a son of the late Edgar K., Sr. and Edith (Sorber) Malick.

Edgar was a graduate of CCI, Jim Thorpe, as an LPN.  He later served in the Army, Stateside, Peacetime.  Edgar was employed as an LPN for the Palmerton Hospital, Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital, Lehighton, and the Coaldale Hospital.  Edgar had attended Dinkey Evangelical Lutheran Church, Ashfield.  He enjoyed bingo, being active, spending time with his grandchildren, and watching professional football, especially the Philadelphia Eagles.

Survivors: Wife.  Sons, Warren and wife Debra with whom he resided, Robert and wife Amy of Lehighton, and Christopher and wife Dana of Nesquehoning.  4 grandchildren.  6 great-grandchildren.  3 great-great-grandchildren.  Sisters, Ida of Summit Hill, Esther of MN, and June Juraska of Saint Clair, Schuylkill County.  Nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by wife Diana M. (Steffy) Malick in 1994, and a brother, George.
