Edith L. (Kohlhase) Grim, 88, of the Hampton House, Northampton, died Saturday morning, February 13, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Inpatient Hospice Care, Allentown. Born in New York, NY, she was a daughter of the late Kurt and Johanna (Alber) Kohlhase.
Edith was born in the United States but was raised in Stuttgart, Germany. She enjoyed her yearly visit back to Europe to see family and friends. Edith was a member of Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Moore Twp. She was employed by the former Woolworths at the Whitehall Mall as a section merchandiser. Edith was an avid reader, and enjoyed watching the QVC Channel.
Survivors: daughter, Joanne G. wife of William J. Borath, Jr. of Pennsylvania sons, Kurt R. and wife Susan Grim of Maryland, Paul E. and wife Kim Grim of Virginia, William L. and wife Esther Grim of Delaware. 14 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren. several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Max and Kurt Kohlhase.
Services: Private Family Funeral Services. Interment, Valley View Cemetery, Emmanuelsville, Moore Twp. Arrangements, Schisler Funeral Home, Northampton.
