Edward G. Conklin

Edward G. Conklin , 60, of Main Street, Northampton, PA, died suddenly early Thursday evening, February 16, 2023, at St. Luke's Hospital, Allentown Campus, after being stricken at work.  Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late James and Betty (Braker) Schaffer.

Edward was employed as a loader/warehouse dept., at Home Depot, Whitehall.  He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Northampton.  A 1980 graduate of the Northampton High School, he later joined the Army, serving as a supply specialist during peacetime, achieving the rank of PFC E3.

Survivors: Daughters, Natasha A. Conklin, and Gabrielle A. Conklin, both of Coaldale, Schuylkill County.  5 grandchildren, Taylor, Austin, Chloe, Kendall, and Addison.  Sisters, Elaine wife of Bernard Kuchera of Whitehall, and Carol Bonnell of Watertown, NY.  Brothers, Gary and wife Cheryl of Walnutport, Robert of Lehighton, and Dale of Bethlehem.  Numerous nieces and nephews.
