Edward C. Curtin

Edward C. Curtin , 83, of Glen Lyon, Luzerne County, formerly of Nanticoke, died Friday afternoon, August 6, 2021, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.  He was the husband of Helen J. (Samsel) Curtin since April 11, 1959.  Born in Morrisville, Bucks County, he was a son of the late Stephen and Ruth (Steiner) Curtin.

Edward worked as a self-employed carpenter for 50 years, retiring in 2000.  He was a member of the Church of Christ, Huntington Mills.  An avid outdoorsman, Edward enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors: Wife.  Daughters, Helene E. wife of Wayne Putman of Mansfield, Tioga County.  Sons, E, Stephen and wife Lisa, and Robert C. and wife Trish, all of Nanticoke.  7 grandchildren.  12 great-grandchildren.  4 great-great-grandchildren.  Sister, Carol Regan of Levittown.  Son-in-law Stewart Yacko of Williamsport. He was predeceased by a daughter, Carol A. Yacko, and brother, George.
