Edward N. Lavenburg

Edward N. Lavenburg, 71, of Old Carriage Road, Northampton, Allen Twp, died Tuesday evening, August 24, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. Born in Schuylkill County, he was a son of the late Norman E., Sr. and Elsie (Bauer) Lavenburg. He was the husband of MarySue (Buell) Lavenburg since April 11, 1979.

Edward was employed as store manager for the Bottom Dollar Retail, Bethlehem, retiring in 2015. Previously, he worked in the same capacity for the CVS Pharmacy, Allentown, and Kmart Store, Quakertown. He was a member of Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran, Moore Twp. He was a member of the Sunshine Foundation and an avid HO Gauge Train Collector.

Survivors: wife. daughter, Mechelle wife of Christopher Ziegenfuss of Wilmington, NC. sons, Darrin and wife Cathy Walker of S. Norriton, Montgomery County, Jason and wife Jane Walker of Culleoka, TN, Ryan and wife Kristine Lavenburg of Bath. 11 grandchildren. 2 great granddaughters. numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by sisters, Eleanor, Shirley, Arlene, Bernice, and Athena, brother, Norman E., Jr.

Services: 10:00AM Monday, Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067. Call, 7- 8:30PM Sunday and 9-10:00AM Monday in funeral home. Interment, Mountain View Cemetery, Valley View Drive, Moore Twp.
