The Rev. Edward N. Levandusky,
79, of Main Street, Carbondale, Lackawanna County, formerly of Palmerton, Carbon County, Pennsylvania, died on Saturday afternoon, December 1, 2018, at Geisinger-Community Medical Center, Scranton. Born in Palmerton, he was a son of the late Nicholas and Anna (Sayuk) Levandusky.
A 1957 graduate of the Palmerton High School, he later attended St. Basil's College Seminary, Stamford, CT, and continued his theological studies at The Catholic University of America, while a seminarian at St. Josaphat's Ukrainian Catholic Seminary, Washington, DC.
Rev. Levandusky was ordained to the priesthood by the Metropolitan-Archbishop Ambrose Senyshyn, at the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Philadelphia, on April 10, 1965.
Rev. Levandusky served the faithful of the Ukrainian Catholic Archeparchy of Philadelphia in the following parishes: Holy Ghost, Chester, PA; Holy Trinity, Youngstown, OH; Saints Peter and Paul, Jersey City, NJ; Epiphany of Our Lord, St. Petersburg, FL; Saints Cyril and Methodius, Olyphant, PA; Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Wheeling, WV; St. John The Baptist, Northampton, PA; Saints Peter and Paul, Phoenixville, PA; Assumption of the BVM, Centralia, PA; St. Vladimir, Palmerton, PA; and Saints Peter and Paul, Simpson, PA. He retired from active ministry in 2010.
Survivors:
Brother, Glenn E. and wife Cynthia Levandusky, of Palmerton. Nieces, Stephanie wife of Michael Shultz of Roanoke, TX, Nicole Levandusky of Fort Thomas, KY. Nephews, Eric Levandusky of Palmerton, Nicholas and wife Natalie Levandusky of West Grove, Chester County. Several cousins. He was predeceased by a brother, Dennis N. Levandusky.

Divine Liturgy, 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 7, 2018, at St. Vladimir's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 106 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071. Call, 6:00-8:30 p.m., Thursday, and 9:30-11:00 a.m., Friday, in the church. Parastas, 7:00 p.m., Thursday in the church. Interment, Parish's Upper Cemetery, Maple Drive, Palmerton.
