Edward H. "Harold" Muschlitz, 93 of Bethlehem, PA passed away peacefully on Monday, April 13, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg Campus in Bethlehem, PA. Born August 11, 1932 in Bethlehem, PA, he was the son of the late Clarence M. Muschlitz and Mary (Rupple) Muschlitz. He was the husband of the late Eileen M. (Rader) Muschlitz who passed away February 6, 2023.
Edward "Harold" was a 1950 graduate of Liberty High School, Bethlehem, PA and was employed by AT & T, Lucent Technologies, Allentown, PA as a Layout Operator for 45 years until retiring in 1995. Edward was of the Lutheran faith. He was a member of the United States Power Squadron since 1965, achieving the rank of N. He was a longtime volunteer / donor for the Miller-Keystone Blood Center, Allentown / Bethlehem, PA and one who achieved the 100 gallon milestone of blood giving. Edward enjoyed gardening, but was especially known for his wonderful tomatoes. He also enjoyed bowling, and was a bowler in the mixed leagues at the Rose Bowl Allentown, PA for years. Edward served his country as a Corporal in the US Army during the Korean War.
Survivors: Edward is survived by his daughters, Mrs. Janet L. Book of Pittsburgh, PA and Alice D. wife of Richard Gomboz of New Smyrna Beach, FL, sister, Mrs. Helen "Dolly" Ehrsam of Bethlehem, PA; 2 grandsons; Timothy Book and Christopher Gomboz, 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Kimberly M. Gomboz-Bogacz in 2023 and 3 Brothers and 3 Sisters.
Services: A Celebration of Life Services will be announced in the future. Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067 has been entrusted with his care and arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Miller - Keystone Blood Center, 1465 Valley Center Parkway, Bethlehem, PA 18017.
