Eileen F. (Custard) Dailey , 73, of Lehigh Avenue, Palmerton, PA, quietly passed in her sleep at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem.  She was the wife of the late David M. Dailey, Sr., who passed in 2014.  Born in East Stroudsburg, she was a daughter of the late James H. and Genevieve (Brown) Custard.

Eileen graduated from East Stroudsburg High School, and later went on to get a degree in nursing.  She went back to college and earned a degree in early childhood education at Lehigh-Carbon Community College.  Eileen was employed by the Lehigh-Carbon Intermediate Unit as an aide and bus driver for several years, until retirement.  She was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Palmerton, faithfully serving on the choir and participating in other events.  She spent a great amount of her time volunteering with the elderly.  Eileen was a very caring person who always was willing to help those in need.  This is a short, sad, goodbye, to the most carefree, loving person anyone could know, until we meet again in heaven. Love , your family .

Survivors: Sons, David M., Jr. and companion Maria Heisler, James E. and wife Michele, Daniel A. and wife Holly, and Matthew W., all of Palmerton.  6 grandchildren, Megan, Dakota, Erin, Elizabeth, Emily, and James.  Sisters, Maryann Custard of Stroudsburg, and Diane wife of Floyd Carter of Lubbock, TX.  Brothers, John and wife Christine of Carbondale, and Christopher of Jonas.  Numerous nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a brother, Michael.

Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 30, 2022, at Sacred Heart Church, 243 Lafayette Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071.  Call, 9:00-10:00 a.m., Thursday in church.  Interment, Parish's New Cemetery, Stoney Ridge Road, Palmerton.  Arrangements, Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton.  Online Condolences may be left for the family at: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com .
