Eileen J. Miller

Eileen J. Miller , 87 of Treichlers, PA, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest Campus in Allentown, PA. Born December 27, 1935 in Washington, District of Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Paul F. Craven and the late Helen (Samski) Craven. She was the wife of the late Donald L. Miller who passed away April 27, 1996.

Eileen was last employed as a Teller for Wells Fargo, Catasauqua, PA for 16 years before retiring in 2008. Prior to she worked for the former Hess's - North, Whitehall,. PA as manager of China and Clearance items until it's closing. Eileen was a member of Bethany Wesleyan Church, Cherryville, PA where she volunteered her time prepare service bulletins along with other duties for the church. She was a former Bowler with the Monday night Women's League at the Democratic Club, Danielsville for years. As well as a former Den Mother for the Cub Scout Troop at St. Paul's Indianland church. She also assisted as a server at the Lehigh Twsp. Elementary School for several years.

Surviving are daughter, Sharon L. wife of Paul Ballek of Treichlers, PA; son, Eric Miller and wife Elizabeth of Alpine, TX, 2 granddaughters; Holly wife of David Kordalski of Berlinsville, PA, and Amy Silfies of Northampton, PA.; 4 great grandchildren; Matthew, Rebecca, Violet, and Brooke.

A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday July 18, 2023 at Bethany Wesleyan Church, 675 Blue Mt. Drive, Cherryville, PA 18035 with the Rev. Scott Weldon officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior in the church. Interment will follow in Indianland Cemetery, Cherryville, PA. Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067 has been entrusted with her care and services.
