Elaine H. Newhart

Elaine H. Newhart, 89, of Arden Courts, Lower Macungie Township, previously of Lehigh Township, Pennsylvania, died Sunday evening, June 26, 2016, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. Born in Treichlers, she was a daughter of the late Elvin D. and Stella M. (Bossard) Newhart.
Elaine was owner/operator of Newhart's Gift Shop, Slatington and Walnutport, for several years. She was a member of Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church, Cherryville. An avid photographer, she enjoyed taking local photos of weddings, and confirmations. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors: Brother, Dale E. of Bethlehem. Several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sister, Marjorie Reed, and brothers, Julian W. and Daniel F.
Services: Private Graveside Services. Interment is at Indianland Cemetery, Almond Road, Lehigh Township.
