Eleanor Mae "Ellie" (Bunger) Albright, 98, passed away peacefully on the morning of April 5, 2019 in her home in Bethlehem Township, PA.

Eleanor Mae Bunger was born February 4, 1921 to parents Roy Victor and Mariah Eleanor (Meek) Bunger at their home in Bear Gap (Elysburg), Columbia County, Pennsylvania.  She attended Wynn's School in Bear Gap and the Bear Gap Methodist Church.

Eleanor worked at several jobs over the years, most recently at the Bethlehem Steel, where she met her husband Charles J. Albright.  After marriage in 1958, she retired from Bethlehem Steel to be a homemaker and raise a family.  She was happily married to Charles for 42 years before his passing in 2001.

Eleanor has been a member of Grace Bible Fellowship Church in Nazareth, PA since 1980 and prior to that was a member of Bethel Bible Fellowship Church in Allentown, PA for many years.  She served as Sunday School teacher for the 2- and 3-year old class for a combined total of 25 years between the two churches, where she was affectionately known by her students as "Miss Ellie".

Eleanor is predeceased by her husband Charles J. Albright, her sisters Dorothy George and Cora Krick and brothers Roy V. Bunger and Lawrence "Dutch" Bunger, and her parents Roy and Mariah Bunger.

Eleanor is survived by her sons Philip M. Albright and his wife Joanna of Allentown, PA and Lowell R. Albright and his wife Barbara of Northampton, PA.  She has five grandchildren, Thomas Albright, Lori Craig, David Albright, Charles Albright and Samuel Albright; seven great grandchildren, Gregory, Elizabeth, Patrick, Daniel, Ryan, Christopher and Beth; and two great-great granddaughters, Maive and Evelyn.  She is also survived by nieces Jane Halliday, Karen Nelson, Judy DesCombes, Rachel Weller and nephew Roy Bunger.

Special thanks to the staff of St. Luke's Hospice, especially Dennis, Catherine and Claudee, for their helpfulness and kindness to Eleanor in her final months.

Eleanor was loving to all and was loved by all and will be greatly missed by all.  She was always a generous and giving person to everyone she met.  She was well known for her ministry of prayer in recent years and her great faith in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Some of her last words were "The Lord is so good," repeated over and over again.

A Funeral service will be at 10:30 AM on Friday April 12, 2019 at Grace Bible Fellowship Church, 100 E. Beil Avenue Nazareth, PA. 18064 with the Rev. Carl J. Fischer, Jr. officiating.
