Eleanor Jean Brown-Connelly

Eleanor Jean (Good) Brown-Connelly, 88, of Kennedy Drive, Northampton, Allen Twp, died peacefully Friday morning, August 31, 2018, at VNA Hospice of St. Luke's, Bethlehem. She was the wife of Ronald C. Connelly, Sr. since Jan 25, 1974, and the late Walter B. Brown who passed in 1972. Born in Butler, PA, she was a daughter of the late Frank Miller and Rella (McKay) Good-Miller.

Eleanor was employed by the Dept of VA Affairs, Bay Pines, FL, for 21 years, retiring in 1992. Previously, she worked for the Butler County VA Hospital, as an audiology/speech secretary. She was a member of Union Evangelical Lutheran Church, Neffs. Eleanor was a 1948 graduate of the Butler High School. She was a senior water aerobics instructor at the Jewish Community Center, Allentown, and the Parkland Area School District for more than 10 years.

Survivors: husband. daughters, Ronna Jean wife of Marty White of Erie, Theresa Ann wife of Jeff Geisel of Schnecksville. sons, Zane E. and wife Donalee Brown of Mountain Lakes, NJ, Gregory S. and wife Jennifer Brown of Fairfield, CA, Ronald C., Jr. and wife Lisa Connelly of Butler, Bruce M. and wife Gretchen Brown of Pittsburgh, and Timothy A. and wife Cal Brown of Leesburg, VA,. 14 grandchildren. 6 great grandchildren. brother, William A. Good of Hadley, PA.

Services: 11:00AM Wednesday, Union Lutheran Church, 5550 PA Route 873, Schnecksville (Neffs), PA 18078. Call, 7-8:30PM Tuesday, Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067 and 10-11:00AM Wednesday in church. Interment, 1:00PM Thursday, Butler County Memorial Park, 380 Evans City Road, Butler, PA 16001.
