Eleanor M. (Kuzara) Janowski, 83 of Allentown, PA, passed away June 10, 2026, at Whitehall Manor in Whitehall, PA. Born October 3, 1942, in Scranton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Peter Kuzara and the late Sophie (Olszewski) Kuzara. Eleanor was the wife of Joseph S. Janowski, with whom she shared 62 years of loving marriage.

She was a graduate of West Scranton High School, and then went on to Scranton Hospital Nursing School to become a registered nurse. Eleanor worked as a Rn at Allentown Hospital for a few months before finding her true calling as a mother. She cherished her time spent with her children and grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, and completing puzzles.

Surviving are sons, David Janowski and wife Amy of West Chester, PA and Kenneth Janowski and companion Stacey Haas of Northampton, PA, daughter, Judith Laurinatis and husband Larry of Wake Forest, NC, grandchildren, Allison McKenna and husband Josh, Jordan Janowski, Cameron Janowski, and Lukas Laurinatis, great-grandson, Jaxon McKenna.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Schisler Funeral Home, Northampton, PA, has been entrusted with her care.
