Eleanor Margaret Scherer

Eleanor Margaret Scherer, 80 of Allentown, PA. died on Thursday, December 24, 2020, at her residence surrounded by her family. Born May 10, 1940 in Allentown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Boger, Sr. and Emma (Green) Boger. She was the wife of the late Earl F. Scherer who passed away in 1988.

Eleanor was last employed as a Waitress / Hostess for the Town & Country Restaurant, Bath, PA. for a couple of years before retiring in 2010. Prior to she worked as an expediter for Marcks Brother remodeling Contractors, Allentown, and before that, she was a dispatcher for Americold, Fogelsville, PA. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Allentown, PA.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Crystal L. Hahn of Effort, PA, Jennifer L. Merkli of Northampton, PA, and Roseanna D. wife of Michael Behler of Allentown, PA, brothers, Carl Boger of Allentown, PA and Ralph Boger, Jr. of Breinigsville, PA, sisters, Patricia Harig and Frances Grossman both of Allentown, PA; 5 Grandsons, and 13 Great- Grandchildren. She was predeceased by sister, Edith Peters.

Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA. 18067 has been entrusted with her care and services.
