Elizabeth "Betty" J. (Lahner) Lazenka-Crouse
, 93, formerly of Blue Mountain Drive, Treichlers, Pennsylvania, died Thursday morning, March 2, 2017, at Whitehall Manor. She was the wife of the late Frank A. Lazenka who passed in 1987, and the late Norman J. Crouse, who passed in 2015. Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Elizabeth (Oberarcher) Lahner.
Betty was employed for over 20 years in retail sales for Sears, Roebuck and Company, in Abington. She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Berlinsville, where she enjoyed volunteering at the yearly bazaar. Betty enjoyed sewing and collecting M.I. Hummel Figurines.
Survivors: Daughter, Judy A. wife of John Murphy of Upper Chichester, Delaware County. Son, Frank A. and wife Mary Lou of Jim Thorpe. 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews.
Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at St. Nicholas Church, 1152 Oak Road, Walnutport (Berlinsville), PA 18088. Call, 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067/ Interment is at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham Township, Montgomery County.
