Elmer J. Faust Jr.

Elmer J. "Junior" Faust, Jr. , 82 of Northampton, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Inpatient Hospice Care in Allentown, PA. Born July 31, 1942 in Northampton, PA, he was the son of the late Elmer J. Faust, Sr. and the late Eliza (Rickert) Faust. He was the husband of Jean F. (Chabak) Faust with whom he shared 31 years of marriage this past September 22, 2024.
Elmer was a 1960 graduate of Northampton Area Senior High School, who was last employed by the former Bethlehem Steel Corp., Bethlehem, PA as a Crane Operator for 15 years before retiring in 1975. He was a long time member of Grace UCC Church, also a life member of the Alliance Fire Co., Northampton, he enjoyed snowmobiling, hunting, fishing, arrowhead hunting, and just being in the great outdoors. Elmer served his country as a SP4 in the US Army during the Vietnam War.

Surviving along with his wife Jean is sister, Mrs. Katie Derr of Bethlehem, PA. along with many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Chester and John and sister, Mrs. Margaret Milisits.

A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday March 19, 2025 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA 18067 with the Rev. Robert J. Gutekunst officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM prior to the service. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Allen Union Cemetery, Northampton, PA.
