Elmer J. Roth, 100 of Whitehall, Pennsylvania died Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at Whitehall Manor.
Born Saturday, June 12, 1915 in Cementon, he was the son of the late Elmer and Eliza Roth and husband of the late
Evelyn I. (Barkley) Roth for 71 years prior to her death in 2010.
Elmer was a long-time of Cementon prior to moving to Egypt, PA in 1972. He was a chemical analyst at Whitehall
Cement (Lafarge), Cementon for 44 years before retiring in 1981. He was also a member of Egypt Community
Church, Whitehall.
He is survived by son, Timothy J. and wife Lori Roth of Orefield, daughter, Pamela J. wife of Karl Meltzer of Auburn,
NH, grandchildren, Jill Williams of Allentown, Kris Stone of Auburn, NH and Karl Meltzer, Jr. of Sandy, UT, greatgrandchildren,
Anna, Jason, Taylor and Shannon.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
