Elsie J. Dreher

Elsie J. Dreher passed away on March 9, 2023 at home, surrounded by her loving family. She bravely battled complications from a stroke. She was born on July 1, 1930 to John and Edith (Heartline) Smith. Elise was the last of nine children, with 5 sisters and 3 brothers who passed prior to her. She is survived by her children, William, Dennis, Ronald, Cindy, Susan, Randy, and Nancy, as well as eleven grandchildren, and twenty-three great-grandchildren.

Elsie made sure that her children knew how much they were loved by her unrelenting devotion to taking care of them, and doing anything she could to give them what they needed. Her ability to laugh threw the tears of her life's many challenges is what made her beloved by her large family.

Services: Future graveside committal at Slatedale Cemetery, Slatedale PA.
