Emily M. Onichimowski

Emily M. (Pankowicz) Onichimowski , 73, of Forest Street, Lehighton, Franklin Township, PA, died peacefully Wednesday morning, January 4, 2023, in her home.  She was the wife of Anthony J. Onichimowski since May 2, 1987.  Born in Jaslo, Poland, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Emilia (Wasko) Pankowicz.

Emily was employed as a secretary for the M.J. Waldo Medical Supply Co., Philadelphia.  Previously, she worked as a cashier for a Polish Bakery in Philadelphia.  She was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Lehighton.  Emily was a volunteer reporter for the National Polish Alliance, #3131, Philadelphia.  She enjoyed attending religious pilgrimages and visiting shrines.

Survivors: Husband.  Sisters, Martha wife of Bruce Maysiles of Raleigh, NC, Anna Pankowicz of San Francisco, CA, and Beata wife of Brad Cole of Los Angeles, CA.  Brother, Peter and wife Debbie of Oxford, PA.  Several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 12, 2023, Ss. Peter and Paul Church, 260 N. Third Street, Lehighton, PA 18235.  Call, 7:00-8:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 11, 2023, and 8:30-9:30 a.m., Thursday, all at the Miller Funeral Home, 137 Fairview Street, Lehighton, PA 18235.  Interment, Parish Cemetery, 4th Street, Lehighton.  Online Condolences may be left for the family at: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com .
