Emma M. Berezak,
98, of Slatington, Pennsylvania, died Monday morning, June 11, 2018, at St. Luke's Hospital, Palmerton Campus. She was the wife of the late John E. Berezak who passed in 1985. Born in Hazleton, Luzerne County, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Popyak) Sadlock.
Emma was employed as a seamstress and garment worker for many years. She was a member of St. Vladimir's Ukrainian Catholic Church, in Palmerton.
Survivors:
Son, Michael J. and wife Deborah Berezak of Plymouth, Michigan. Three granddaughters, Laura, Jennifer, and Rachel. Great-grandchildren, Alanna and Tyler. Sister, Gloria Ritter-Webb of Dillsburg, York County. Several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Mary Minnick, Anna Marinock, Verna Shofran, Agnes Haraschak, Margaret Petrovich, and Catherine Bobby, brothers Michael, John and Joseph in WWII, Battle of the Bulge.
