Emma A. Hartzell

Emma A. Hartzell, 96, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021, at Liza's Personal Care Home in Danielsville, PA.  Born July 27, 1924, she was the daughter of the late George and Hannah (Dilliard) Strohl.  She was the wife of the late Neil Hartzell, with whom she shared 70 years of marriage before his death in 2014.

Emma was a long-time member of Zion Stone U.C.C., Kreidersville, PA.  She was active in the Church's quilting club and enjoyed quilting on her own.

Surviving are son, Larry Hartzell and wife Linda of Danielsville, PA, sisters Janet Hagenbuch, Nancy Birosik, and Shirley Eberhardt, granddaughter Jennifer Makovsky and husband Joseph, great-granddaughters Courtney, Kendra, and Jolene.  She was predeceased by her 1 sister and 4 brothers.

Services will be held privately at the family's convenience.  Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
