Emma S. Kratzer, 97 of Allentown, PA, formerly of Coplay, PA died on Friday, December 24, 2021, at Phoebe Allentown Health Care Center in Allentown, PA. Born February 18, 1924 in Catasauqua, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ignatius Suppan and the late Catherine (Jollie) Suppan. She was the wife of the late Raymond Kratzer who passed away in April 1972.

Emma retired from Lehigh Valley Hospital Central Services in 1989 after 20 years in the collections Department. During World War II she worked for the Office of Price Administration as Chief Clerk in Catasauqua, PA. Emma was a member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Coplay and the Altar Rosary Society. She served as Past secretary and Past President of the American Women's Association, the Whitehall AARP Chapter #3115, and the Coplay Saengerbund Ladies Auxiliary. She was also a former member of club 55 Bowling League, Allentown, PA.

Surviving are son, Gary R. Kratzer and wife Patricia Cannon-Kratzer of Emmaus, PA, daughter, Debra A. Kratzer-Comer, wife of Martin J. of Bethlehem, PA; 4 Grandsons; Jason and wife Tarrin, Kyle and Fiance' Elise, Wade and wife Kat, and Jarret. 2 Great-Grandchildren; Dillon and Addison. She was predeceased by brother, Gerald Suppan and a sister, Catherine Harmonisky.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 4 South Fifth Street Coplay, PA. 18037. The family will receive friends and family from 9:30 AM until time of Mass in the church. Interment will follow in St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, Coplay, PA. Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton,. PA 18067 has been entrusted with her care and services.
