Ernest C. Breiner,
79, of Twin Lane, Palmerton, Pennsylvania, died early Saturday morning, September 23, 2017, in his home. He was the husband of Elsie M. (Bernhard) Breiner since May 7, 1940. Born in West Penn Township, Schuylkill County, he was a son of the late Walter O. and Elsie V. (Bailey) Breiner.
Ernest was employed over 32 years as a crane operator for the former Bethlehem Steel Corporation. He served his country honorably in the Navy, Peacetime, and achieved the rank of BT2.
Survivors: Wife, Elsie. Daughter, Diane M. wife of John Strockoz of East Penn Township. Son, Ernest C. and wife Grace M. of Palmerton. 2 Grandsons, John M. and Jeremy A. of Palmerton. Sisters, Hilda Brown of Lehighton, Rachel Cseh of Mahoning Township, Alverta Knecht and Mary Strohl, both of Palmerton. Nieces and nephews.
