Ethel V. Geosits, 81 of Whitehall-Cementon, Pennsylvania. died Monday, November 20, 2017, at ManorCare Health Services I, in Bethlehem, PA. Born March 23, 1936 in Cementon, she was the daughter of the late John and Susan (Mlock) Madea. She was the wife of John J. Geosits, Sr. with whom she shared 61 years of marriage this past February 8, 2017.

Ethel was a sewing machine operator for the former Cross Country Clothes, Whitehall-Egypt location for 42 years until retiring the year the plant closed. She was a member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Whitehall-Egypt, PA.

Surviving along with her husband John are; brother, Michael Madea of Cherryville, PA, sisters, Mrs. Lucy Gregus of Bethlehem, PA, Mrs. Elsie Adams of Coplay, PA and Mrs. Martha Guzzi of Palmer Twsp., PA; A Daughter-in-law, Lisa Geosits and grandson Christopher both of Coplay. She was predeceased by a son John J. Geosits, Jr. in 2015, 6 Sisters; Anna, Helen, Pauline, Susan, Elizabeth, Cecelia, and 6 Brothers; John, Albert, Thomas, Joseph, Frederick, Donald.

Services: A Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday November 25, 2017 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA. 18067 with the Rev. Msgr. Daniel J. Yenushosky officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM on Friday, November 24, 2017 and 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM Sat. November 25, 2017 both at the funeral home. Interment will follow in St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, Coplay, PA.

Contributions: May be made to Holy Trinity R.C. Church Memorial fund C/O the funeral home.
