Eugene P. DeSantis , 93, of Bowmanstown, PA, died early Monday morning, December 6, 2021, at New Eastwood Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Easton. He was the husband of the late Pennie L. (Hagenbuch) DeSantis who passed in 2008.  Born in Palmerton, he was a son of the late Thomas, Sr., and Anna (Leraris) DeSantis.

Eugene was employed by Blue Ridge Communications in the inventory control department for 50 years.  He also enjoyed working as a motion picture projectionist for several theaters in the greater Lehigh Valley.  He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Palmerton, and a graduate of the former Nesquehoning High School.  An avid sports enthusiast, he enjoyed football, baseball, and hockey.  Along with being a projectionist,  he enjoyed movies and big band music.  Eugene enjoyed automobiles and owned several classics over the years.

Survivors: Several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by sister, Jane Cochran, and a brother, Thomas DeSantis, Jr.

Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 28, 2021, Sacred Heart Church, 243 Lafayette Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071.  Call, 10:00-11:00 a.m., Tuesday in the church.  Interment, Parish's New Cemetery, Stoney Ridge Road, Palmerton.  Arrangements, Campton Funeral Home, Palmerton.  Online Condolences: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com .
