Evelio Tomas Punales

Evelio Tomas Punales, 94 of Nazareth, PA, formerly of New York, NY died on Saturday, October 12, 2019, at his residence. Born September 18, 1925 in Havana, Cuba, he was the son of the late Jose Angel Punales and the late Clara (Sanabria) Punales. He was the husband of Herminia (Lopez) Punales for over 50 years.

Evelio was employed as a Bus Driver for the Municipal Transit Authority, New York, NY for 22 years before retiring in 1990.

Surviving along with his wife Herminia are daughter, Ana Maria Punales and husband David, of L. Nazareth Twsp.,PA, and three grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass will be held on October 18, 2019 at Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church, 132 South 5th Street, Easton, PA 18042 with the Fr. Keith Laskowski officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in New York, NY. Bartholomew - Schisler Funeral Home, 211 E. Center Street, Nazareth, PA 18064 is in charge of arrangements.
