Evelyn M. Groller

Evelyn M. (Scheirer) Groller, 95, formerly of Egypt, Whitehall Twp, died peacefully Wednesday evening, March 2, 2022, at Bethlehem Manor Memory Care.

She was the wife of the late Frank J. Groller in 1998. Born in Egypt, she was a daughter of the late Victor and Mary (Novak) Scheirer.

Evelyn and her late husband owned and operated the former Egypt Hotel, Whitehall Twp, from the 1940s through 1970s. She was a member of the Shepherd of the Hills Evangelical Lutheran Church, Egypt, and a 1944 graduate of the former Whitehall High School.

Survivors: daughter, Ingrid G. wife of Lee Lane of Washington, DC. son, Douglas and wife Maxine of Bel Air, MD. 2 grandchildren. 4 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by son, Frederick J. in 2001, 3 sisters, and 3 brothers.

Services: Private Funeral Services. Interment, Arlington Memorial Park, Whitehall Twp. Arrangements, Schisler Funeral Home, Northampton.
