Evelyn M. Haas

Evelyn M. Haas, 92 of Northampton, PA, formerly of Whitehall, PA, passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born January 3, 1929 in Whitehall, PA, she was the daughter of the late George Kern, Sr. and the late Mae (Tereya) Kern. She was the wife of the late Baird F. Haas, Sr. who passed away in September 2010.

Evelyn worked as a Sewing Machine Operator for over 60 years with her last 10 years at Kaylin Mfg., Allentown, PA before retiring in 2014. Evelyn was a member of St. John's U.C.C. Church, Whitehall, PA, she enjoyed ceramics and was a former bowler with the ladies league at Mountainville Lanes, Allentown, PA. for many years.

She is survived by her daughter, Terri A. wife of Gregory Kresge of Northampton, PA ; 2 Grandchildren; Gregory and Shania Kresge. Step-Grandson; Brian McNeal and wife Kristen. She was predeceased by son, Baird F. Haas, Jr. and Companion Ruth McNeal, 4 brothers; George, Jr., Willard, Leroy, Robert, and 6 sisters; Margaret, Louise, Joyce, Carol, Helen, and Catherine.

Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at Laurel Cemetery, Whitehall, PA, Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA. has been entrusted with her care and services.
