Evelyn Rose Reese

Evelyn Rose Reese, 90 of Macungie, PA formerly of Nazareth, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2019, at Willow Senior Living Center in Macungie.

Born on August 19, 1928 in Henderson, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Samuel Turner and the late India (Hayes) Turner. She was the wife of the late Asher Isaac Reese who passed away in July 1992.

Evelyn was formerly employed by Kramer Textile in Nazareth and Orr's Department Store in Easton for several years. She enjoyed spending time with and caring for her family. She loved visiting her hometown several times each year to visit her family and friends in Henderson, North Carolina from her youth, growing up in a small southern town.

Surviving are sons, Terry L. Reese and wife Sheryl Haas-Reese of Zionsville, PA and Timothy A. Reese and wife Lyn of Mooresville, NC, granddaughters, Dr. Elizabeth Lauren Reese and Samantha Ashley Reese. She was predeceased by sisters, Elizabeth "Betty" Vernon and Ferbee Owens.

A Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, May 3, 2019 at Bartholomew-Schisler Funeral Home, 211 E. Center Street Nazareth, PA. 18064. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM prior to the services. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery - Moore Twp. Bath, PA.
