Evelyn L. Shepherd

Evelyn L. Shepherd, 98, of Lehighton, passed away at her residence surrounded by her family on Tuesday, February24, 2026, Born in Parryville, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Eva (Knappenberger) Blose. She was the wife of the late John E. Shepherd who passed away in 2006.

Evelyn first worked in a shoe mill in Macungie, for several years before offering custodial and housekeeping services privately. She was a member of St. Matthews EC Church, Emmaus.

Evelyn is survived by her daughters, Mrs. Diane K. Serfass of Lehighton, PA and Debra wife of Gary L. Dunbar of Rosemont, CA, son, Paul Moyer & wife Barbara of Staunton, VA, 10 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was predeceased by son, Donald L. Shepherd in 2004, daughter-in-law Eleanore, son-in-law Maynard Serfass and sister Shirley Dunbar.
