Fay A. Wanamaker

Fay A. Wanamaker , 77 of Northampton, PA, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg Campus in Bethlehem, PA. Born April 10, 1947 in Nazareth- BushKill Twsp., PA, she was the daughter of the late Ray Fenstermaker and the late Margaret (Noe) Fenstermaker. She was the wife of the late Paul V. Wanamaker who passed away in February 1999.

Fay was a graduate of Northampton High School who was last employed as the Manager of Housewares for the former Laneco Store, Allentown, PA for 20 years before retiring in 1997. In her spare time she enjoyed taking Bus trips with the local groups, sitting outside enjoying nature, reading, crossword puzzles and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Amy M. Snyder and Alley Wanamaker both of Northampton, PA, brother, Larry and wife Kathy Fenstermaker of Nazareth, PA, sister, Edna Snyder of Bath, PA; 3 granddaughters (Aerin Felker, Jessica Shepherd and Charlotte Snyder) and a great-granddaughter. She was predeceased by brothers, Kenneth, Earl, and Robert Fenstermaker.

A Funeral service will be held at 7:30 PM on Friday March 7, 2025 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA 18067. The family will receive family and friends from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
