Florence F. Green

Florence F. (Smith) Green , 96, of Lehigh Avenue, Palmerton, Pennsylvania, died peacefully Monday afternoon, October 26, 2020, at Mahoning Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Lehighton.  She was the wife of the late Clare C. Green who passed in 1991.  Born in Kunkletown, she was a daughter of the late Spener and Minnie (Huber) Smith.

Florence was employed as a floor worker by the former Scotty's Fashions Company, Palmerton, for 50 years, retiring in 1995.  She enjoyed reading, knitting, cross stitch, and sewing.  Florence was a member of the I.L.G.W.U.

Survivors: Daughter, Brenda L. wife of Peter Bowman of Palmerton.  Sons, Neil and wife Bonnie Green of Palmerton, and Barrie and wife Pat Green of Port Orange, FL.  10 grandchildren. 18 great-grandchildren. Great-great-grandchildren. Brother, Donald Smith of Palmerton.
