Florence A. Snyder

Florence A. (Morgan) Snyder , 84, of Walnutport Mobil Home Park, Lehigh Township, Pennsylvania, died on Friday afternoon, February 19, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township  She was the wife of the late David H. Snyder who passed in 2005.  Born in Lehighton, she was a daughter of the late Evan L. and Bernadine M. (Beck) Morgan.

Florence was employed as a Registered Nurse by the Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital, Lehighton, where she also volunteered and led Activities Unlimited bingo, and social games for more than 40 years.  Florence was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lehighton.  She was the leader of Girl Scout Troop #356, Lehighton.

Survivors: Daughter, Cheryl A. wife of Craig "Chip" Fisher of Lehighton.  Son, David W. of Hanover, MD.  4 grandchildren, William Fisher and wife Shannon of Lehighton, PA, Amy Neeb wife of Michael of Lehighton, PA, Caitlin Linden of Louisville, KY, and Megan Snyder of Baltimore, MD.  7 great-grandchildren, Jacob, Joshua, and Ethan Neeb, Cameron Fisher, and, Simone, and James Linden, and Avi Snyder.  Several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by son, Kevin "Chocks" S. Snyder in 2015, and a sister, Marie Parham.
