Floyd E. Williams

Floyd E. Williams , 82 of Whitehall, PA, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest Campus in Allentown, PA. Born August 16, 1942, in Bangor, PA, he was the son of the late Von Williams and the late Ella (Dietz) Williams. He was the husband of Irene M. (Mullen) Williams with whom he shared 35 years of marriage this past July 22, 2024.

Floyd was a 1960 graduate of Bangor High School who was last employed at B.A.S.F., Belvidere, NJ as a Paint Lab Technician for 10 years before retiring in 2005. Prior to BASF he worked for BRW Textiles as a Dyer Tech for many years. Floyd was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Cherryville, PA. He was an avid bowler and member of the Wednesday Senior Mixed League at Jordan Lanes, Whitehall, PA for years. Floyd traveled extensively through Europe, Hawaii, and the United States. He loved the Jersey Shore, going to the Pocono Mountains, relaxing in his recliner, and most of all, spending time with his family.

Surviving along with his wife Irene are son, Greg Williams (Kim) of Easton, PA, daughters, Carolyn Kramer (Ernest) of Hamburg, PA, Melinda Hoffner (Christopher) of Nazareth, PA and Tricia Marshall (Randy) of Easton, PA; Step-son, Timothy Meyers (Aniela) of Send, England, step-daughter, Mrs. Patricia Levac of Charles Town, WV, sister Sharon Huff (Robert) of Easton, PA, 2 granddaughters, 4 step-grandsons, 2 great-grandchildren, and 5 Step-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister Mrs. Frances Telepo.

A Funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday March 4, 2025, at Schisler Funeral Home, located at 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA 18067 with the Rev. Susan D. Ruggles officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM prior to the services.  Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
