Frances W. Bauer

Frances W. (Lahr) Bauer , 89, of David Drive, Walnutport, Lehigh Twp, died peacefully Saturday evening, February 3, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg Campus, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Albert J. Bauer who passed in 1993. Born in E. Penn Twp, Carbon County, she was a daughter of the late Charles M. and Beulah M. (Turner) Lahr.

Frances was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She was a member of Dinkey Memorial Evangelical Lutheran Church, Ashfield. She enjoyed her vegetable and flower garden and attending bingo at the Diamond Vol Fire Co., Walnutport, and the Towamensing Twp Vol Fire Co., Trachsville.

Survivors : daughters, Diane M. Bauer with whom she resided, Mary A. wife of Barry Williams of Lehighton. grandson, Christopher E. and wife Jerilynn Derhammer of Myrtle Beach, SC. great grandson, Trent A. numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by son. Thomas Lee Bauer in 2013, sisters; Ada, Ruth, Eva, Rebecca, and Isabelle, brothers; Roosevelt, Charles, George, Elwood, and Gordon.
