Frances Larue Gantz

Frances LaRue Gantz, 92 of Hamburg, PA, formerly of Schnecksville, passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022, at Genesis-Laurel Center in Hamburg, PA. Born February 20, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Muthard and Clara (Loch) Muthard. She was the wife of the late Lloyd D. Gantz who passed away in January 2017.

Frances worked in Assembly for the former Western Electric, Allentown, PA for 18 years before retiring in 1975. She was a long time member, Deacon, former Consistory member, and Bell Choir member of Egypt U.C.C. / Community Church, Whitehall, PA, where she also served on the Evangelism Committee for over 40 years. She volunteered her time for the American Red Cross. Once moving from the Lehigh Valley she became an associate member of the Friedens Church, Shartlesville, PA.

Surviving are daughter, Marcia R. wife of Jeffrey Wink of Shartlesville, PA, Grandsons; Shawn Wink and wife Amber of Bernville, PA, Travis Wink and wife Shanna of Robesonia, PA, Three Great-Granddaughters; Evelyn Grace, Rosalee Marie, and Elyanna Marie, brother, Dennis Muthard and wife Patricia of Northampton, PA, Mrs. Doris Miller of Bethlehem, PA and Mrs. Cheryl Bleiler of Kutztown, PA. She was predeceased by daughter, Eileen Gantz in 1981, and brother, Elwood Muthard and sister, Jean Roth.

Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA 18067 has been entrusted with her care and arrangements.
