Francis "Frank" J. Kravetz,
77, of Lehigh Avenue, Palmerton, Pennsylvania, passed away suddenly as a result of recent illness, March 14, 2108, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Shirley A. (LaBar) Kravetz since June 8, 1963. Born in Palmerton, he was a son of the late Henry A. and Christine P. (Kumanchik) Kravetz.
Frank was employed as a diesel mechanic for the former Myers Men Service, Allentown, until retiring in 2003. He then co-operated the former Todd's Bait and Tackle Shop, Palmerton, for several years. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Palmerton. Frank served his country honorably, stateside, Great Lakes Region, in the Navy peacetime, achieving the rank of AR. An avid fisherman and hunter, he was a member of the Palmerton Rod and Gun Club. Frank enjoyed gardening, and in his early years, he participated in Stock Car Racing at Nazareth Speedway, and Dorneyville. Online Condolences may be left for the family at:

Wife, Shirley. Daughter, Danielle M. wife of Kyle Smida of Haverhill, Massachusetts. Son, Todd A. and wife Susan Kravetz of Palmerton. 4 grandchildren, Tyler, Paige, Julia, and Henry. Brothers, Robert and wife Margaret Kravetz of Palmerton. Edward and wife Lourdes Kravetz of Jacksonville, Florida. Several nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00AM Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 243 Lafayette Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071. Call 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., Wednesday in the church. Officiating will be the Rev. Fr. William T. Campion. Interment is with
