Frank D. Adamchick, 78 , of Wilkes-Barre, PA. formerly of Northampton and Whitehall, PA, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2020, at Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center.
Born July 6, 1941 in Swoyersville, PA, he was the son of the late Adam and Elizabeth (Humonosky) Adamchick.
Frank honorably served his country as a Sergeant in the US Army from 1963 to 1966 during the Vietnam War. After his service, he worked for the former Levitz Furniture Store, Whitehall, PA, as a furniture salesman for over 30 years before retiring. In his spare time, Frank enjoyed fishing, and sharing his skills as a chef with friends and family.
Surviving are daughters, Lynn Yandrisovitz, wife of Edward of Whitehall, PA and Dana wife of Scott Moser of Palmer Township, PA, son, Ryan Adamchick of Allentown, PA, sister, Joan Neher of Hunlock Creek, PA; 4 grandchildren, Eden, Evan, Olivia, and Joseph. Many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Marie and brothers, Daniel and Jerome.
Services will be held privately at the family's convenience. Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave, Northampton, PA 18067, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
