Frank J. Csencsits

With a heavy heart, the family of Frank J. Csencsits, 88, of Northampton, announces his passing on January 9, 2022. He was predeceased by his loving wife Margaret (Polzer) Csencsits. Born in Northampton, he was the son of the late Frank and Rose (Marth) Csencsits.

He honorably served his country in the National Guard, Army and Air Force. He was employed by the US Postal Service, Northampton, until he retired in 1990. After his retirement, he enjoyed working at Whitehall-Coplay School District until 2004. He was an avid Philly sports fan (GO BIRDS!) and enjoyed German Polka music. He was also the former recording secretary for men's bowling league at the Northampton Leiderkrantz.

He will be forever missed by son, Frank S. of Northampton; daughters, Lisa, wife of Steve Elton of Bethlehem, Theresa, wife of Donald Shimko of N. Catasauqua and Jeane, wife of Andrew Heist of Saylorsburg; grandchildren: Devon, Emery, Jorja, Lindsey, Phoebe and Cooper; brother, Joseph of Northampton. He was predeceased by sister Rose Stech, brothers, William and Edward.

Family and friends may call from 9:00AM until start of services at 10:00AM, all held at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067 on Tuesday, January 18, 2022. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery, Northampton.
