Frank A. Gombotsh, 86 of Coplay, PA passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2018, at VNA Hospice House @ St. Luke's in Bethlehem, PA. Born on January 29, 1932 in Allentown, he was the son of the late Louis Gombotsh and the late Rose (Gerbavsits) Gombotsh. He was the husband of Betty (Bogarosh) Gombotsh with whom he celebrated 44 years of marriage this past June.

Frank was employed by the former Lehigh Valley Dairy as a Truck Mechanic for 33 years before retiring in 1979. He served as a Technical Sergeant in the Army from 1950 until 1953. He was a Veteran of the Korean War. He was of Catholic faith.

Surviving along with his wife are son, Michael Gombotsh of Allentown, step-daughters, Mrs. Beverly Gessner of Northampton and Mrs. Carol Nemeth of Whitehall, brother, Walter Gombotsch of Mahonoy City, sister, Rosemarie Mahlon of Allentown; 4 step grandchildren; 8 step great- grandchildren., 6 step great-great- grandchildren; He was predeceased by a brother, Lewis, step-son, Joseph Nemeth, son-in-law, Todd Gessner and a step granddaughter, Amanda.

A Graveside service with military honors will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 27, 2018 at Allen Union Cemetery Association, 4th & Main Streets Northampton, PA.with the Rev. Timothy Boyer officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton, PA.
