Frank Schad

Frank Schad, 87, of Northampton, PA passed away Thursday, May 28, 2020, at his residence. Born February 28, 1933 in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Peter N. and Anna K. (Seifert) Schad.

Frank was a Designer & Engineer for the US Government in the munitions field at both the Frankford Arsenal and the Picatinny Arsenal for 35 years before retiring in 1988. He served his country in the US Navy during the Korean War.

Surviving are son, Frank R. Schad, and wife Lisa of McHenry, MD, daughters, Mary Ellen S. wife of William Ford, III of Northampton, PA and Kathleen Ann Marie Schad of Feasterville, PA, brother, Adam Schad and wife Helene of Bensalem, PA; 6 grand children; 9 great grand children. He was predeceased by a brother, Peter and a sister, Katherine Matz.

Graveside services with military honors will be private and at the convenience of the family. Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA. 18067 have been entrusted with his care and services.
