Franklin A. Behler , 87, of Palmerton, Pennsylvania, died on Thursday, December 24, 2020, at his home.  He was the husband of Grace I. (Smale) Behler, with whom he celebrated 66 years of marriage in October.  Born in Lower Towamensing Township, he was a son of the late Franklin D. and Elizabeth J. (Andreas) Behler.

He was employed by Bazley Construction Company, Scranton.  Previously, he worked for Riebe Construction. Franklin was an avid hunter, and a life member of the Parryville Volunteer Fire Company #2, the Bowmanstown Volunteer Fire Company, the Rod and Gun Club, and Andreas Sportsman's Club.

Survivors: Wife.  Daughter, Karen J. wife of Lester Kintz of Palmerton.  Grandson, Christopher and his wife Jamie of Concord, NC, and a great-grandson, Nicholas.  Sister, Edith "Maudie" Zellers of Palmerton.  Numerous nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by sisters, Florence, and Alice, and brothers, Andrew, Carl, Curtis, Ralph, and Robert.

Services: Funeral Service, 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 29, 2020, Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071. Officiating will be the Rev. Robert C. Timlin, Sr.  Call, 1:00-2:00 p.m., on Tuesday in the funeral home.  Interment, Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Bowmanstown, PA.  Online Condolences may be left for the family at: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com .
