Franklin E. "Gus" Pielaet

Franklin E. "Gus" Pielaet, 82 of Laurys Station, died on Friday, May 25, 2018, at his home. Born April 2, 1936 in Fair Lawn, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Frank and Edith (Kuiken) Pielaet and husband of the late Doris J. (Holdren) Pielaet.
He was an Accountant for the former Continental Can Company, Parsippany, NJ for many years before retiring. Franklin also honorably served in the US Army.
He is survived by son, Jason and his wife Sara, daughters, Sara, Melissa and her husband Nicholas, and Suzanne and her husband Vincenzo, sister, Beverly, and eight grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Fairview Cemetery, Cherryville Road, Northampton.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels of the Lehigh Valley in care of the Schisler Funeral Home 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067.
