Frederick J. Jones, Jr.

Frederick J. Jones, Jr., 84 of Coplay, PA passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest, Allentown, PA. Born January 19, 1942 in Ewing Township, NJ, he was the son of the late Frederick Jones, Sr., and Myrtle (Stillwell) Jones. Fred was the husband of Maryann (Hurst) Jones, with whom he shared 63 years of loving marriage.

After graduating from Pennington High School in New Jersey, Fred served his Country in the Navy, earning the rank of SA E-2 before being honorably discharged. He started working for AAA Trucking Company for 25 years as a truck driver, working his way up to a dispatcher. Fred continued his trucking career, driving for REA Express, Levy Bussing, and Lanta, before retiring in 2011. In his free time he was an avid hunter, and enjoyed spending time at the 7 Points Rod and Gun Club.

Surviving along with his wife, daughter, Karen Jones and companion Clyde, son, James Jones and wife Vicki, brother, John Jones of Langhorne, PA, sister, Florence Plyer, 3 grand children, and one great grand daughter.

Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Schisler Funeral Home, Northampton, PA has been entrusted with his arrangements.
