, 63, of Railroad Street, Bowmanstown, Pennsylvania, died Wednesday afternoon, May 24, 2017, in her home. Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Ruth E. (Beers) Schwab.
Gayle was employed by various banking institutions in loan services and head teller positions. Later, she owned and operated Signs and Designs, Lehighton, and Bowmanstown. Gayle attended Emmanuel United Church of Christ, Bowmanstown. She was a 1971 graduate of the Palmerton High School. Gayle enjoyed art, gardening, and flowers.
Survivors: Son, Travis A. and Kristina Smale of Philadelphia. Sister, Tina M. Schwab of Allentown. Brothers, Gary Schwab of Walnutport, Terry and wife Linda Beers of Slatington. Several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Greg Schwab, and Glenn Schwab.
Services: Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071.
Contributions: May be made in her memory to the charity of one's choice.
