George P. Grohotolski,
78, of Lafayette Avenue, Palmerton, Pennsylvania, died unexpectedly, on Wednesday, November 15, 2017. He was the husband of Nancy L. (Deemer) Grohotolski for 54 years. Born in Palmerton, he was a son of the late Joseph and Cecelia (Meyer) Grohotolski.
A 1956 graduate of Palmerton High School, George served his country honorably as a Marine Corps Veteran, and he was very proud of his service. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Palmerton. He was employed at Western Electric and retired from the US Postal Service after 30 years. After retirement, he continued to enjoy many years of hunting, and fishing, with his son and grandsons, along with many other activities he did with his grandchildren.

Wife, Nancy. Daughters, Nancy Quinn of Palmerton, Michelle wife of Michael Mummey of Lehighton, Christine, wife of Patrick Smith of Schnecksville. Son, Jeff Grohotolski of Palmerton. 12 grandchildren, Tyler, Megan, Morgan, Shane, Alexandria, Mark, Katie, Madison, Nicholas, Ryan, Abigail, and Michael. Great-granddaughter, Emma. Sisters, Cecilia Hosier, Rita wife of Martin Heiney, all of Palmerton. Brothers, John and wife June Grohotolski, Joseph Grohotolski, all of Bethlehem, and Christopher Grohotolski of Palmerton. Many nieces and nephews. He was preceded by brother, Charles Grohotolski.
