George A. Hough, 69 of Northampton, died on Thursday, June 14, 2018, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Center, Salisbury Township.Born Thursday, December 16, 1948 in Connellsville, Pennsylvania he was the son of the late Arthur C. and Antoinette A. (D'Amito) and husband of Betty J. (Fulmer) Hough.
He was a truck mechanic for Ryder in Allentown for many years before retiring. He honorably served in both the US Army and US Marines serving two tours in Vietnam.
In addition to his wife he is survived by son, Anthony C. Hough and wife Elizabeth of Jim Thorpe, step-son, John Trayter Hough of Palmerton, step-daughter, Michelle Trayter of Mount Pleasant, PA, a brother and sisters; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM followed by a 3:00 PM funeral service on Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, Pennsylvania 18067.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
